Travel to this fascinating part of the world. Immerse yourself in the local Acholi culture. Stay and work at the Lukome Center as you forge bonds of friendship with war-affected girls from Uganda, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo who are rebuilding their lives in this therapeutic community.
We invite you to come alongside ChildVoice staff for two weeks and support the work being done at the Lukome Center. Your interests and passions will be put to good use as you uplift and interact with the students and their children. Through total immersion in the culture and community, you’ll understand the challenges these girls face and the remarkable healing taking place in their lives.
Once you return home, you’ll have a better understanding of the horrors of human trafficking and how we can help stop this atrocity against children--especially young girls. Come experience ChildVoice, expand your worldview, and become an advocate for change.
