ABout COVID-19 and international travel

As we coordinate international trips, it is incumbent on us to stay highly informed regarding any and all potential health risks that people traveling on our behalf might face. The novel coronavirus that causes Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is the most recent concern. Assessing and making recommendations regarding travel-related risk of contracting Coronavirus Disease is challenging, to say the least. However, our staff, both in the US office and at our program sites, are closely monitoring this situation and triangulating information from a variety of sources to give us the best understanding possible about the risks related to the disease. Should the situation make it necessary, we will postpone or cancel trips on a case-by-case basis.

We also believe it is important for travelers to be fully aware of the most up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and other reliable sources, so that they can make their own informed decisions.
