Uganda: Thankful Hearts

Watch this video for a short glimpse into a culture of song, dance and celebration. From the young mother who starts her workday singing as she walks several miles with her baby while carrying water, to the last scene where a mom greets her daughter when she comes home after graduating from the ChildVoice rehabilitation program for formerly abducted child soldiers and their children.

In spite of the hardships they’ve faced in the past and present, these beautiful people never stop singing and praising with thankful hearts. As Thanksgiving Day draws near for us in the United States, let us learn from them and be thankful and joyful for all of our blessings.

Thank you to our friend, John Ziemba, for sharing this video with us.
