Research and Collaboration

Our work in conflict zones and post-conflict zones has given us a close-up look at the effects of war upon children and youth.

Over the last ten years, we’ve published white papers and collaborated with other non-profits and government agencies in shared areas of interest. The Lukome Center campus provides a unique setting for interns to conduct their own research and to help us compile research regarding the effectiveness of our programming, post-traumatic stress syndrome, and other applicable areas.

We are currently working to adapt the Bridges Out of Poverty curriculum for use in an east African setting. We also continue to work regularly with Engineers Without Borders in community development projects in northern Uganda.
