ChildVoice teams go to Uganda three times a year (March, August, and November) for two-week work projects. Team members are considered according to the skills and expertise sought for a particular trip.

Our next trip is scheduled for August 2012 – ChildVoice International invites you to join us for this next trip to Lukome Centre in northern Uganda. Come, see and help with the transformation of:

  • A war ravaged and abandoned building into a thriving educational and restoration centre;
  • Broken and frightened child soldiers to laughing, healthy, productive young women;
  • Neglected and traumatized babies to healthy and loved sons and daughters;
  • Land scorched and ravaged by war to green and growing farmland producing millet, pineapple, peanuts, chickens, goats and cows to sustain the community.

Be prepared to be inspired. This is an educational and reciprocal exchange trip where you will be working side by side with your new Ugandan friends in:

  • the harvest,
  • caring for farm animals,
  • the healthcare facility,
  • the classrooms,
  • the kitchen,
  • childcare,
  • income producing projects.

Witness firsthand the results of ChildVoice’s innovative pilot program and catch the vision for how this success story can be replicated in other war torn regions of the world.
